Our Story. . .

It has been more than a decade since Jeanelle Dech first opened Crab Apple Farm, a quaint country gift store that grew to offer custom window treatments, slipcovers and upholstery.

Jeanelle sold Crab Apple in 2005 to pursue several new ventures; teaching at the CHF Academy in Charlotte, NC, launching Adaptive Textiles, a  custom textile printing company, and serving on the board of directors for the Window Coverings Association of America. 

It has all come full circle as Jeanelle rejoins the company as owner and workroom manager.  The new Crab Apple Interiors includes expert window treatment design and fabrication, slipcovers, upholstery, and how-to classes...all of this in addition to the seemingly unlimited selection of fabrics and hardware in Crab Apple's exclusive fabric library. Our team of design consultants loves the creativity that results from the interaction with clients, the workroom, and installers. It is a great joy to create beautiful home interiors!

We are pleased to announce our new location in the 1760s farmhouse just behind Matlack Florist on Route 352 in West Chester.  The Design Studio will be open by appointment beginning July 1st.  Classes in our new showroom will begin this fall.  Visit www.chestercountynightschool.org for a class schedule.
